Who We Are
Ecosmic is on a mission to reduce threat exposure in space by building software for Space Situational Awareness.
We are a high-tech, data-driven space startup, bringing together an international team of engineers and computer scientists. We move fast, think deeply, and care about building things that matter.
We’re looking for a senior flight dynamics engineer with a strong research background and hands-on industry experience to develop new algorithms for our products that have already been tested by ESA and commercial satellite operators.
What You’ll Do
We work in small teams where software and space engineers work together. In this role, you'll experiment with algorithms for flight dynamics products and more, pushing innovation in the field.
In Ecosmic, space engineers are given real data and operational requirements from customers. You will participate in Q&A meetings with potential future users of the algorithm you will build. The whole focus is on meeting real needs by using research, creativity, and a software stack that allows you to have a great experience while working. Once the first MVP is out, we have been collaborating with entities such as ESA, NATO, and the US Space Force for R&D and testing. Part of the job is also to present your work in international conferences.
Our Tech Stack
Python for APIs and algorithm prototyping
C++ and/or Rust for performance-critical components
GitHub, Jira, Slack, Confluence for collaboration
